Everything I ever needed to know about living a sweet life, I could learn by a day at the dog park. In exchange for overall good behavior and extraordinary patience at the studio all day, Gracie gets an hour on the way home at the local dog park. Gracie LOVES this place (Take a look at that happy dog). The park is segregated into two areas by size. One area is for the under 30 pound crowd and the second area is for the 30 lb. plus poochies. Gracie is a perfect 30 so she could play on either side of the fence. But Gracie loves to run with the big dogs. Life Lesson #1- If you’re going to go, go large. Gracie doesn’t see herself as a 30 lb dog. She runs with German Shepards three times her size with a huge smile on her face. You are exactly what you believe you are. Life Lesson #2- Enjoy what you do, while you’re doing it. Be here now. That’s a hard one for me, I’m always thinking, worrying, planning, trying to look around the next corner. It can be so distracting looking forward that sometimes I forget to keep my eyes open to what’s around me right now. I’m working on that. Life Lesson #3- Embrace new friends where you find them. I’m blessed with a life filled with interesting people and fabulous friends. They get me by when the road is bumpy, make the road far more fun when its level and flat and make the entire journey far and away more rewarding. Below are some new faces in Gracie’s life. ![]() ![]() ![]()
